Being Selected For The Interview
To be chosen as a Featured Canadian Artist among ARTTER's global roster is an incredible honour. The interview explores my journey as a Canadian Fibre Artist - How I merge traditional hand-felting and quilting with contemporary design to create layered textile landscapes that reflect the light, movement, and emotion of the Canadian environment.
We discussed the tactile nature of fibre art, the interplay between realism and abstraction, and my belief that fabric can hold memory, story, and connection. this recognition by an international publication reinforces how Canadian Contemporary Art - especially within the textile medium - continues to inspire and resonate on a global stage.
A Look Ahead
This feature marks an inspiring start to the year, opening new opportunities to connect with collectors, galleries, and art institutions who value handcrafted, story-driven work. I'm deeply grateful to ARTTER MAG for highlighting my creative process and for it's commitment to amplifying the voices of women artists in contemporary art.
